Our marketplace may include products across categories such as Natural Products, Spices & Masala, Wellness Products and other permitted consumer products.

We aim to maintain a reliable shopping environment by working with sellers who provide accurate product information and comply with applicable laws and regulations.

1. Seller Registration

Sellers who wish to list products on Ayurvediya Upchar may be required to provide relevant business and contact information during the registration process.

Depending on the nature of the products and applicable requirements, sellers may be asked to provide:

• Business name
• Seller's full name/contact person
• Business address
• Mobile number
• Email address
• GST details, where applicable
• PAN details, where applicable
• Applicable FSSAI registration/license for food products
• Product/category-specific licenses or registrations, where applicable
• Bank/payment details required for seller payouts
• Other information reasonably required for verification

Ayurvediya Upchar may verify the information submitted by a seller before approving the seller account or product listings.

2. Product Listing Requirements

Sellers are responsible for providing accurate, complete and up-to-date information about their products.

Product listings should accurately represent:

• Product name
• Brand name
• Ingredients/materials, where applicable
• Net quantity
• Product description
• Price/MRP, where applicable
• Country of origin, where applicable
• Manufacturing/packing information, where applicable
• Batch or lot information, where applicable
• Expiry/best-before information, where applicable
• Applicable license or registration information
• Product images
• Usage, storage and safety information, where applicable

Sellers must not provide misleading descriptions, images, claims or information about their products.

Marketplace e-commerce rules place obligations on sellers regarding accurate product information and disclosures.

3. Food, Spices & Masala Products

Sellers listing food, spices or masala products must comply with applicable food safety and labelling requirements.

Where applicable, sellers must maintain valid FSSAI registration/license and provide required information for their products.

FSSAI states that food businesses are required to be licensed/registered as applicable, and food products are subject to applicable food standards and labelling requirements.

Ayurvediya Upchar may request supporting documents from sellers where necessary.

4. Natural & Wellness Products

Sellers offering natural, herbal, wellness or similar products must ensure that their products comply with the laws and regulations applicable to the relevant product category.

Sellers must not make false, misleading or unsupported medical, therapeutic or health claims.

Where a particular product category requires a specific license, registration, approval or compliance requirement, the seller is responsible for maintaining the same.

5. Product Quality & Authenticity

Sellers are responsible for ensuring that the products they list and supply are genuine, safe, correctly described and suitable for sale.

Products must not be counterfeit, adulterated, expired, prohibited or otherwise unlawful.

Ayurvediya Upchar reserves the right to request additional information or documents regarding a product.

6. Packaging & Delivery

Sellers are responsible for appropriate packaging of products before dispatch.

Products should be packed in a manner suitable for transportation and should reach customers in proper condition.

Where the seller is responsible for shipping, the seller must dispatch orders within the stated processing time and provide accurate shipment information where available.

7. Order Processing

Sellers must process confirmed orders within the applicable processing period.

A seller should not cancel an order without a valid reason.

Repeated order cancellations, delayed dispatches or failure to fulfil orders may result in review or suspension of the seller account.

8. Returns, Refunds & Customer Complaints

Sellers must comply with the return, refund and cancellation terms applicable to the products they sell through the platform.

If a product is defective, deficient, spurious, materially different from its description, or otherwise covered by applicable consumer protection requirements, the seller must cooperate with the applicable return/refund process. The Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 contain specific duties for sellers on marketplace platforms.

For products where returns are restricted for hygiene, safety, food or other legitimate reasons, the applicable conditions should be clearly communicated to customers before purchase.

9. Seller Payouts

Where applicable, seller payments will be processed according to the commercial terms agreed between Ayurvediya Upchar and the seller.

Applicable:

• Product price
• Platform/service charges
• Payment processing charges
• Shipping charges
• Refund adjustments
• Other agreed deductions

may be considered while calculating the final seller payout.

The applicable payout schedule and commercial terms may be communicated separately to approved sellers.

10. Seller Responsibilities

Every seller is responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate business information
• Providing genuine products
• Maintaining required licenses/registrations
• Providing accurate product information
• Complying with applicable laws
• Processing orders on time
• Handling customer issues appropriately
• Following applicable packaging and labelling requirements
• Avoiding misleading advertisements or claims

11. Prohibited Products

Sellers must not list or sell products that are prohibited by applicable law or by Ayurvediya Upchar's marketplace policies.

Ayurvediya Upchar may remove or restrict any product listing that appears unlawful, misleading, unsafe, counterfeit or otherwise unsuitable for the platform.

12. Product Removal & Seller Suspension

Ayurvediya Upchar may temporarily suspend or remove a product listing where:

• Required information is missing
• Required documentation is not provided
• The product appears to violate applicable laws
• Customers report serious product-related issues
• The product is found to be misleading or counterfeit
• The seller repeatedly violates platform policies
• The seller fails to fulfil orders appropriately

Serious or repeated violations may result in suspension or termination of the seller account.

13. Seller Verification

Ayurvediya Upchar may conduct reasonable verification of sellers and products.

Approval of a seller or product listing does not remove the seller's responsibility for complying with applicable laws, regulations and product-specific requirements.

14. Changes to Seller Policy

Ayurvediya Upchar may update this Seller Policy from time to time to reflect changes in business practices, platform features or applicable legal requirements.
