“100 Golden Rules of Health According to Ayurveda”

Which Deficiency Causes Which Disease? Know the Complete List…


(1) There are three types of doctors:

  • The lowest ones treat the disease,

  • The average ones treat the causes of the disease,

  • And the best doctors prevent diseases and keep a person healthy.
    (Ashtang Hridayam)


(2) Paralysis (Stroke): Caused by Sodium deficiency.

(3) High Blood Pressure:
Drink one glass of water before bathing and before sleeping.
Add a little salt to bathwater before bathing.

(4) Low Blood Pressure:

Drink water mixed with rock salt (Sendha Namak).

(5) Hump on Back (Kyphosis):
Due to Phosphorus deficiency.

(6) Cough/Cold:
Caused by lack of Phosphorus.
To balance it, arsenic presence is essential. Eat jaggery and honey.

(7) Asthma:
Due to Sulfur deficiency.

(8) Cesarean Operations:
Caused by lack of Iron and Calcium.

(9) Eat alkaline foods after sunset.
(10) Eat acidic foods and fruits before sunset.

(11) Yawning:
Due to lack of oxygen in the body.

(12) Cold:
Add black salt and ginger in juice taken in the morning.

(13) Copper Water:
Do not drink water standing and barefoot in the morning.

(14) Kidneys:
Never drink water standing.

(15) Glasses have higher surface tension and come from Western culture.
Use brass/copper lota (vessel) instead — its surface tension is lower and better for health.

(16) Dark-colored vegetables prevent Asthma, Diabetes, and Cancer.

(17) According to Vastu Shastra, the more open space a house has, the more open-minded and kind-hearted its people will be.

(18) Traditions develop based on climate and environment.

(19) Kidney Stones:
Bark of Arjuna tree helps dissolve stones naturally.

(20) Avoid drinking RO water.
It destabilizes mineral balance.
Prefer well water or rainwater.
Use Moringa pods to purify water naturally.

(21) While waking up, turn to the right side or whichever nostril (swara) is active.

(22) Sleeping on the stomach causes hernia, prostate, and appendix issues.

(23) Face east while eating and north while studying.

(24) Increasing HDL (good cholesterol) reduces obesity and harmful LDL & VLDL.

(25) For gas problems, add carom seeds (ajwain) to your meals.

(26) Sugar contains Sulfur, used in fireworks — it increases Pitta (bile) and stays in the body.

(27) Sucrose is hard to digest, Fructose is easily digested — all natural sweet fruits contain Fructose.

(28) Vata (air) imbalance reduces sleep.

(29) Kapha (mucus) dominance increases affection and attachment.

(30) Kapha also reduces focus and study capacity.

(31) Pitta (bile) increases concentration and sharpness.

(32) Yoga & Pranayama:

  • Kapha-type people: Avoid it.

  • Vata-type: Do moderately.

  • Pitta-type: Do more for balance.

(33) Eye Diseases like cataract, glaucoma, and redness mostly occur due to Kapha imbalance.

(34) In the evening, eat Vata-pacifying foods.

(35) Pitta-type people should wake up by 4 a.m.

(36) Blood pressure is lowest during sleep.

(37) Exercise Rules:

  • Vata people: Massage before exercise.

  • Pitta people: Massage after exercise.

  • Kapha people: Massage after bathing.

(38) India’s climate is Vata-dominant — prefer Surya Namaskar over running.

(39) Housewives doing daily chores don’t need separate workouts.

(40) Sleep pacifies Pitta, Massage pacifies Vata, Vomiting balances Kapha, and Fasting (Langhan) reduces fever.

(41) Heavy objects increase blood pressure due to higher gravity.

(42) Even great scientists had poor school records — Newton (8th fail) and Einstein (9th fail).

(43) Non-vegetarian food affects acid-secreting glands in the body.

(44) Always eat thick natural oil (cold-pressed) and thin milk.

(45) Pulses and vegetables with peels reduce cholesterol.

(46) High cholesterol prevents insulin absorption — diabetes is more related to cholesterol than glucose.

(47) During Epilepsy attacks, make the patient smell lime or ammonia.

(48) For headache, sniff a mix of ginger juice and ammonium chloride (Nausadar).

(49) Eating sweet first and sour later prevents diabetes.

(50) Eat salad 30 minutes before meals.

(51) Depression causes Iron, Calcium, and Phosphorus deficiency.
Jaggery and Guava are rich in Phosphorus.

  • Yellow bananas: High Calcium, low Iron.

  • Green bananas: Moderate Calcium, high Phosphorus.

  • Red bananas: Low Calcium, high Iron.
    Green foods = Phosphorus,
    Ripened yellow = Calcium.

(53) Small bananas have more Calcium than big ones.

(54) Medicines that dissolve tumors are made from lime (Chuna).

(55) Lime (Chuna) is effective against Hepatitis A–E.

(56) For Tetanus prevention, give Hypericum 200 (2 drops every 10 min, 3 times).

(57) For internal clot injuries, give Natrum Sulph (2 drops every 10 min, 3 times).
For children: 1 drop in water.

(58) Obese people lack Calcium — give Triphala or Trikatu (dry ginger + black pepper + long pepper).

(59) For Asthma: Give coconut + jaggery + cinnamon. Coconut is alkaline despite being a fruit.

(60) Lime (Chuna) strengthens hair and improves eyesight.

(61) Milk’s low surface tension helps cleanse skin toxins.

(62) Cow ghee increases Pitta and reduces Kapha & Vata.

(63) Don’t eat food that hasn’t received sunlight or air, e.g., pressure-cooked food.

(64) Don’t put cow urine extract in the eyes.

(65) Adding ghee to milk reduces Kapha, but adding sugar increases it.

(66) During menstruation, Vata increases — women should sleep on their stomach for 3–4 days to prevent uterine expansion.
For pain: Drink warm water with 2 spoons of desi ghee.

(67) Eating potatoes at night causes weight gain.

(68) Sit in Vajrasana after meals to control Vata.

(69) Comb hair after eating — let the comb’s teeth touch the scalp. It prevents premature greying.

(70) Carom seeds (Ajwain) balance Apan Vayu, helping digestion.

(71) For constipation, use ginger juice or dry ginger (Saunth).

(72) In constipation, drink water in the morning and walk on heels.

(73) After physical work or exhaustion, lie on the right side.

(74) Lying right side in day and left side at night reduces fatigue.

(75) No vitamin or nutrient works properly without Calcium presence.

(76) A healthy person spends only 5 minutes in the toilet.

(77) Burping during eating shows proper digestion.

(78) Eat fruits in breakfast, curd in lunch, and milk at night.

(79) Avoid high-protein foods at night — lentils, paneer, rajma, lobia, etc.

(80) Keep your mouth closed while eating or defecating; avoid watching TV while eating.

(81) During menstruation, women should avoid cold water and heat/fire exposure.

(82) The later a disease develops, the longer it takes to heal.

(83) Diseases that arise from within must be healed from within.

(84) Allopathy only gives temporary relief.
Its drugs harm the liver, kidney, intestines, and heart.
It cures one disease but creates ten more.

(85) Never sprinkle salt from above on food — it increases blood pressure.

(86) For color therapy, study the rainbow: violet → blue → red — each color has healing energy.

(87) Children should sleep the most, as they are Kapha-dominant.
Women should rest more than men.

(88) Waking after sunrise causes serious digestive diseases, as the large intestine absorbs toxins.

(89) Without removing body waste, health is impossible —
5% toxins through stool/urine, 22% via exhalation, and 70% through sweat.

(90) Worry, anger, and jealousy produce wrong hormones, leading to constipation, piles, indigestion, BP, and thyroid issues.

(91) In summer, eat Bael, rose jam (Gulkand), watermelon, and muskmelon.
In winter, eat white musli and dry ginger (Saunth).

(92) Mother’s first yellow milk after delivery increases baby’s immunity 10x. Vaccines often become unnecessary.

(93) Apply pure honey at night in winter for glowing skin.

(94) Nothing in nature is useless — only needs proper use.

(95) The one who removes others’ suffering after ending his own is worthy of liberation (moksha).

(96) Drinking water 30 minutes before sleeping balances air (Vata) and reduces paralysis and heart attack risk.

(97) Urinate before bathing and after meals — it balances blood pressure.

(98) Avoid drinking water immediately after hard work, sunlight, or bowel movement.

(99) Triphala is divine — balances Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
After meals, lime with betel leaf, desi cow ghee, and gomutra (cow urine) are also tridosha pacifiers.

(100) The most expensive medicine in the world is your saliva — gifted free by nature.
